About me

I'm a ski mountaineer from Zurich and part of the Swiss Olympic Preparation Squad with SAC Swiss Skimountaineering.
My dream – and ultimate goal – is to win a medal at the 2026 Olympic Games in Milano Cortina, where the Sprint discipline will be part of the Olympics for the very first time.

Since 2024, I've been fully committed to Sprint racing – a fast-paced, technically demanding discipline that perfectly matches my strengths.
During the 2024/25 season, I celebrated my first World Cup podium finishes and closed the season as the runner-up in the overall Sprint World Cup ranking.

Alongside elite sports, I’m pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zurich. Studying provides me with valuable balance and a long-term perspective beyond my athletic career.

My road to the Olympics

Since 2024, I’ve been a member of the OYM Intersport Academy. The expertise of OYM Science AG in training, performance testing, and nutrition plays a key role in supporting my Olympic journey.

Also in 2024, I began working with my new coach, Christoph Schmid, who brings valuable experience from cross-country skiing and track & field.

These sports share many performance demands with ski mountaineering sprint, and his fresh perspective and scientific approach are helping me push my limits and evolve as an athlete.
